Pomegranate Gimlet

I am obsessed with all things lime and all things pomegranate, so this cocktail was a must for Christmas. I found a similar recipe and decided it was time to try it! My family called this my “Reindeer Gilmet”! It was super easy and if you buy a bottle of vodka and pomegranate juice, and a bag of limes, you can make them all week! It takes a few minutes to craft it together and make it cute and insta-worthy, but it’s worth it. I love making fun cocktails over the holidays! Enjoy!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • Pomegranate juice (I used Pom Wonderful) - I measured two shots from a shot glasses for equal parts juice & vodka.

  • 2 shots of vodka (I used Tito’s) ~ you can also use gin

  • 1 lime, squeezed

  • 1 lime, for garnish, cut into slices

  • Handful of fresh pomegranate seeds

  • Splash of ginger ale

  • Ice

Directions

  • In a martini shaker full of ice, add pom juice, vodka, lime juice, and ginger ale. Shake for a few minutes.

  • Add the pomegranate seeds to two martini glasses, strain the mixer over the glasses. Garnish with lime!

  • Tip: if you need to make a virgin one, just add extra ginger ale instead of vodka!
